01 · Our Vision

Where we are going

THRIV3 will be a nationally recognised leader in community-led capability building, workforce development and sustainable opportunities across rural, regional, remote and First Nations Australia.

We see a future where these communities are no longer treated as places that need rescuing, but as places that lead. Where culture is the engine of growth, not an add-on. Where local people hold the qualifications, the contracts, the jobs and the decisions. Walking together as one. Heart first. Always.

02 · The Name

Six words. One standard.

T

Transforming

The change, the impact, and the how.

H

Hearts

The whole person. Who they are matters.

R

Respect

Mutual respect for who people are, where they come from, and what they know.

I

Innovation

Creative problem-solving, going beyond what has been done before. In the logo the I is drawn as a person: the individual, and the skills, journeys and stories they bring.

V

Vitality

Spiritual, mental, physical and cultural health. In the logo the V is a boomerang: you may leave and grow, but you return, bringing your knowledge back to share.

3

The 3 E's

Education, Empowerment and Engagement.

The 3 E's

Education

The transfer of knowledge. When knowledge flows, people grow.

Empowerment

With knowledge comes power: the power to reach goals, overcome challenges and transform lives.

Engagement

Genuine two-way engagement, walking together across cultural and non-cultural spaces. Without it, nothing else is possible.

03 · Our Mission

How we get there

A proudly Aboriginal-led Indigenous Corporation that transforms hearts through Respect, Innovation, Vitality, Empowerment, Engagement and Education, partnering with communities, government and industry to deliver high-quality programs that strengthen culture, care for Country, develop workforces, and build lasting capability. Community-led, culturally grounded, built to a standard that holds up under audit, scrutiny and time.

04 · The Four Pillars

What we do every day

Pillar One · The Heart

Culture, Community & Youth

Why we exist. Culture, community and young people are the standard everything else is measured against. This is the Heart: it sets the standard for the other three.

Pillar Two · The Hands

Rangers & Land Management

Where the work meets Country. Real jobs, real qualifications, real outcomes for land, water and people. Healthy Country. Healthy people. Healthy communities.

Pillar Three · The Bridge

Training, Education & Workforce

Knowledge becomes qualification. Qualification becomes opportunity. Everyone carries knowledge that has value.

Pillar Four · The Engine

Social Enterprise & Economic Development

How THRIV3 stands on its own two feet. Social Enterprise, Economic Development and Corporate Services: fee-for-service ranger contracts, cultural awareness training, consultancy, and governance, finance, compliance and HR services for other Aboriginal corporations.

05 · The Ecosystem

A self-sustaining ecosystem

1

Train

We train our staff and rangers to a real, recognised standard.

2

Deliver

Those people deliver quality services and programs on Country.

3

Learn

Real-world delivery improves our training and systems.

4

Share

We offer and charge for that training and expertise.

5

Reinvest

Income and reputation feed back into better delivery.

Why this matters

Grant reliance reduces

As earned income grows, the corporation becomes less dependent on grants and more in control of its direction.

Quality goes up, not down

Each cycle of delivery generates lessons, improvements and stronger systems.

Decisions stay with us and community

Self-generated income means self-determined priorities.

The sector lifts with us

When one Aboriginal corporation demonstrates a better way, others follow.

06 · Pillar One

This is the Heart: it sets the standard for the other three.

The 3 tests

1

Did this strengthen culture?

2

Did this support young people?

3

Did this enrich community?

If a program cannot answer yes to those three, it does not belong in THRIV3.

07 · Pillar Two

Healthy Country. Healthy people. Healthy communities.

These are the Hands. Aligned with the Indigenous Rangers Program.
